Summit Build

Introducing the Summit Build: a complete, highly functional van conversion designed for travelers who want generous storage, flexible living space, and room for additional passenger seating. It combines the complete Virtus Vans Basecamp Build with dedicated power and water storage, a convertible dinette bed, a countertop cabinet, extensive overhead cabinetry, and designated spaces for a toilet and seats.

The Summit makes the most of a 170" Sprinter by combining a comfortable dining and sleeping area with an open, versatile interior. The dinette converts into a bed when needed, while the additional seating space makes the layout well suited for families, groups, and travelers who want to bring others along.

Build Components

• Complete Basecamp Build — Includes structural wall and ceiling rails, an insulated floor system, finished walls and ceiling panels, and an integrated headliner shelf.
• Two Wheel-Well Cabinets — Designed to house the van’s power and water systems while providing enclosed storage and a clean, integrated foundation for the build.
• Elevate Futon Bed — Converts between a comfortable bed and a front-to-back-facing couch. The bed can also be raised to create additional room underneath for bikes, equipment, and other large gear.
• 40" Kitchen Cabinet — Provides dedicated space for your countertop, sink, cooking equipment, refrigerator, and other kitchen essentials. Appliances not included.
• 60" Narrow Kitchen Cabinet — Adds an extended countertop and storage area while its narrow profile helps preserve interior walking space. Appliances not included.
• Two 40" High Upper Cabinets — Provide overhead storage for clothing, food, equipment, and everyday supplies while preserving valuable headspace throughout the interior.
• Two 30" High Upper Cabinets — Add space-efficient overhead storage that keeps gear organized and the floor clear while preserving valuable headspace.
• 20" Standard Upper Cabinets — Adds full-depth overhead storage for smaller gear and frequently used items.
• 10" Standard Upper Electrical Cabinet — Provides a dedicated location for an electrical control panel and system controls.
• Roof Rack — Adds secure exterior storage and a strong foundation for mounting compatible rooftop equipment.
• Side Steps — Provide a wide, sturdy stepping surface for easier entry and exit.
• Effortless Installation — Components are designed to work together as a complete Virtus system, reducing guesswork and creating a clean, integrated build.

No. Appliances are not included, but Virtus Vans offers appliance kits selected to fit directly into the Summit's cabinets.

How does the Elevate Futon bed affect the interior space?
The Elevate functions as comfortable seating during the day and converts into a bed when needed, allowing the same area to serve as both living and sleeping space.

Can I change the layout or finishes?
