Introducing the Traverse Build: a complete, highly functional van conversion designed for travelers ready to spend more time off-grid. It combines the complete Virtus Vans Basecamp Build with a full kitchen cabinet, dedicated power and water storage, overhead cabinetry, a fold-away Murphy bed, a roof rack, and side steps.
The Traverse makes the most of a 144" Sprinter by creating a comfortable living space without sacrificing cargo room. The Murphy bed folds away when not in use, opening the interior for daily living, loading gear, and life on the road.
Build Components
- Complete Basecamp Build — Includes structural wall and ceiling rails, an insulated floor system, finished walls and ceiling panels, and an integrated headliner shelf.
- Two Wheel-Well Cabinets — Designed to house the van’s power and water systems while providing enclosed storage and a clean, integrated foundation for the build.
- Fold-Away Murphy Bed — Creates a comfortable sleeping space that folds away when not in use, opening the rear of the van for additional living and cargo space..
- 40" Kitchen Cabinet — Provides dedicated space for your countertop, sink, cooking equipment, refrigerator, and other kitchen essentials. Appliances not included.
- Two 40" Standard Upper Cabinets — Full-depth overhead storage for clothing, food, equipment, and everyday supplies.
- Two 30" Standard Upper Cabinets — Additional overhead storage designed to keep gear organized and the floor clear.
- 10" Standard Upper Electrical Cabinet — Provides a dedicated location for an electrical control panel and system controls.
- Roof Rack — Adds secure exterior storage and a strong foundation for mounting compatible rooftop equipment.
- Side Steps — Provide a wide, sturdy stepping surface for easier entry and exit.
