Does this require drilling new holes in my van? No. The Virtus Headliner Shelf is engineered to mount using factory-existing holes above the Sprinter cab. No new drilling, no structural modifications, no guesswork on where to penetrate the headliner.

Is the finish face required, or is the shelf functional without it? Fully functional without it. The finish face is a cosmetic upgrade that covers the shelf's front edge with a laminate panel matching your interior finishes. If you're building with Virtus wall and ceiling panels, adding the matching face keeps the whole build visually consistent.

What can I realistically store on this shelf? Builders commonly use it for bedding, pillows, hats, sunglasses, maps, snacks, or loose daily-use items. It is not designed for heavy gear — keep heavy loads in your main cargo area or cabinetry.

What finish face options are available? Continental Walnut, Asian Sand, Unfinished Birch, and No Added Face. Unfinished Birch can be stained, painted, or left natural.
